Preconceptions in Science

The Education Endowment Fund produced a report in 2018 on Improving Secondary Science. The first strand  in the summary recommendations was to tackle the preconceptions that pupils bring into lessons.

I ran a short CPD session at Ellis Guilford based around discussion on what the common preconceptions are and how to tackle them.
